Self Adhesive closed foam tape

I need to replace the self adhesive foam bedding tape that the floorboards in the cabin rest on above the engine bay and ideally am looking for about 12 metres of 5mm (or maybe even 10mm) thick by 40mm wide with strong adhesive on one side only.

Its the black stuff you see in the pic. Anyone know where I can source the stuff?

Spot on. This is exactly the stuff you need. I bought mine for sealing the hard top down onto my Series 2a Landy as recommended on the landyzone forum. Excellent stuff and used it on my boat engine hatches as well.

Thanks for the useful info guys, particularly newbie Prof Pat Pending (for some reason Postman Pat keeps running through my head!)
My needs were purely related to bedding insulation for the cabin floor - would be grateful if you could now stop drawing attention to the inadequacies of my humble Citroen C3D based 4 wheeled transport.

See _ I told you FleaBay was not all bad - you just have to be careful who's selling the stuff. Quite a few large / specialised distributors are using eBay as an extension to their main channels. Good for offcuts short (to them) end of rolls and so on. It helps if they are a business seller with a UK phone number and whose English is at least passable.....
