Looking for a source of bearings for Furlex Type B MKII. Selden no longer supplies them.
Selden p/n 539-034 6mm dia. balls
539-058 ring/race
539-059 ring/race
539-060 ring/race

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

if you could get away with using normal metal instead of stainless steel then simplybearings are very good both on price and fast post

Maybe check again. They seem to be listed on-line:

Yes-the manual is online, but when I try to order the parts,I get a message. I read somewhere that Selden has discontinued supplying parts for this model.
Just hoping someone can suggest a chandler, etc.,that may have bearings in old stock. These are not "off the shelf from a bearing store" by appearance.
Perhaps someone knows better. Tks for your replies-Len

I did this job on the top halyard swivel on my Selden Type B (not the Mark II). I bought 316 s/s bearings from Simply Bearings.com. The only thing was that I could not fit 5mm bearings in as I think the whole housing had compressed over the years. I therefore used 4.5mm bearings and the swivel now turns beautifully.
