Seiwa Explorer 3 master reset

Simple question:
Does anyone know how to do a "master reset" (factory reset) on a Seiwa Explorer 3 black-box chart plotter?
It refers to it in the manual but doesn't say how to do it. Can't find anything online so I'm expecting to draw a blank, but you never know.

The instructions are not very clear but I think you can get into "system test mode" by switching on whilst holding any other button them in the "ram menu" there will be a option which will clear the ram which I guess will be effectively a system reset.
