Happy new year to you all.

I am modifying my stainless pulpit and require details for a reasonably priced fabricator in the Brighton area. Requires the swing down steps removing and the two remaining horizontal rails joining together leaving a rounded finish.

Thanks

Cooney fabrication have a really super duper pipe bending machine that has to be seen to be believed.
I have used them before but they had a long lead time.

If you can't find someone closer, try Chris at CB marine, his workshop is beside Chichester Marina - just drive down the access road as if heading for CYC at the Western end, his workshop is opposite the club.

Despite the location I have found his prices very reasonable, and his craftsmanship second to none.

I battled to find anyone around Brighton to do stainless work other than SSL who quoted a truly horrific price for the small job I needed done.. I ended up finding another way to solve my problem which cost a grand total of £10 vs their quote of over £500..

Please feedback if you do find someone local that charges a reasonable price for stainless work for anyone looking (including myself) in the future..

Can't help with the Brighton area but if you get desperate

Last winter I fitted a replacement pulpit (insurance job). I was required to get three quotes.
They were: £650, £950 and £1800. All quoting from the same drawing.

I was was quite surprised by the variation.

Insurance chose the cheapest. It was a good job, well done and very happy with it. Wonder what more I'd have got for 3 times the price??

(not much use to you, though, all in Scotland)
