First one definitely my fault. Decided to grab a convenient mooring to wait the 30 minute or so until the flood abated and I could get out of harbour mouth. Missed the 'aft' buoy due too much speed, dropped it and went for the 'fore' one. Engaged reverse to kill some speed with predictable results when the prop found the first mooring line. With some brute force and ignorance the buoy popped up and we were able to continue. After about 20 minutes standing still in the harbour mouth tide race a gust of wind popped us out and we had a glorious sail up to Porthmadog with a f4 ish on the beam. A very slow plod up the estuary into the wind to Kestrels new home port (2.3kt, possibly due to something on the prop). Then while manoeuvring at the new mooring wrapped the prop with rope between the riser and ground chain. Bread knife gaffer taped to a paddle released us but there's still a big knot of rope in there necessitating a tow to the scrubbing pad next week.
Even with the prop-wraps and other calamities like finding the mast top radar reflector with VHF Ariel and anchor light lying in the cockpit, gas running out again at 10pm at -2 the 2 hour sail made it a glorious weekend.
