Today we found a secret harbour on Anglesey. It's got deap water moorings and very protected. Yet I've never heard of it and there is little in pilot books or on charts. I'll post some photo's when we get home. It looks a great place for a visit, or even over night, in complete safety.

Unless things have changed the pub (another Liverpool Arms) at the end of the dock was an interesting night out!! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif The deep water pontoons were added for the fishing "fleet" or so they tell you. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Parking in Amlwch is better than using anti-foul, the run off from Parys mountain is almost pure copper. That's how copper sheathing was invented - when they realised nothing could grow in Amlwch. I understand the swell from NW'ly gales can be a bit dodgy tho' so try not to get caught in there if you can.
