I have a cruiser fitted with a Sterling 20a charger which charges 2 x seperate engine batteries an 1 x bank of 4 domestic batteries.
I use a Honda generator to charge batteries when moored, but the present charger takes an age to do the job, now the question:-
Would it be feasable to fit a 2nd automatic charger to the domestic bank only to bost the charge rate without risk of damage or should I stop being a tight fisted git and invest £400 ish in a bigger chrarger?
As you may have noticed, electrickery (the type that makes your hair stand up) is not my stong point!
Thanks
