second-hand furling system

Dear all,
After having risked my life several times on the foredeck of my UFO 34 it's now time to install a headsail furling system. Being on tight budget, I would consider second-hand. Where can I find one? Any comments on this idea?

Hi i know where there is a rotostay which is 12.5m long and on a 7mm stay if thats any good for you?

You used to be able to get second-hand systems from various sailmakers. Often people like Arun Sails would p/ex a new system and recondition the old to sell on. It may be worth telephoning round a few of the sailmakers and see if they have anything.

I shall shortly be removing a 2 year old Rotastay furler from my boat. It is approx 11.5 m long. If its of any use then a price can be negotiated.

i am on the same stage, looking for a furling system and have posted an inquiry/tread to the forum, for advise of one furling sytem, not connected to the top of the mast
you can check the discussion with topic - furling system !
many vote - NO for this system, but i will go for it as it is new, lifetime quarantee and not expensive at all !
