Second forestay storage position

Hi
Can anyone advise I have had my rigging replaced, and at the same time had a second forestay fitted the storage position is situated in my opinion in an awkward place in the middle of the side deck, my shrouds are set against the gunwale should I worry about this or is this the best place for it.

Depends on geometry and where the inner forestay can be stowed taught without influence on the rig set-up. There is no right or wrong place but finding a stowage position which doesn't compromise somthing is often difficult.

The forecabin? That where mine lives for anything less than 24hr legs. Depending on W.F. of course. Have mast steps so putting it back up is easy.

Mine is attached to the side deck at the gunwales. I find that it's not in the way and does not interfere with any sails or sheets.
