Great pictures.
Coming through at high water slack for the first time was enough to make my heart beat faster. Hats off to you coming through with the tide at 8 knots and able to take a picture as well.

Was it you who came to the aid of the rib whose engine failed on Sunday by the bridge? Heard the CG asking for anyone in the area to assist. He had called 999 on his mobile asking for assistance and a tow back to Beaumaris.

Twernt Me this time, working the weekend unfortunately
Able to take pics of The Swellies Sat eve and Sun morn.
The Cardinal pic was taken a few weeks ago. Tide that day was 30 foot (Liverpool). The pic was taken about an hour before high water.
The Sunday am pic was taken at low water from the Anglesey side(obviously!) That was a 34 footer Liverpool).
Didn,t here about the rib guy, jungle drums need tweeking!
Lots of incidence go in in the old Swells its just a place you can,t take for granted.
If you stick to the rules its ok ,just like any other piece of fast flowing big tidal spots. At least the hazards stay in the same place not like Caernarfon Bar.

Raggies just HAVE to get the timing right.
Semi displacement and Planing Mobos can negotiate virtually any time.
But not untill you have learnt what its all about.
Being going through for 25 years in all sorts of tubs, still keep my eyes and ears wide open never totally relax but its a wondress place to play in. cheers Poly /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
