Evening All,

Some help please with regard to interfacing an Autohelm Maxi view with Raymarine ST60's.

I would like to use the Maxiview as crew tend to sit In the way of the ST's, so hoped to install the Maxiview up higher.

Initially I thought that being both Raymarine I could daisy chain the Autohelm unit onto the end of the ST60 bank, however they have different plugs with the. ST's having this type :

And the Autohelm this type :

So, does this mean I cannot do as I want or is something else required?

I do have the Raymarine interface box E85001 if that would be of any help!
Thanks

You can easily make a cable to join them.

How!

As I only have the one type of plug ie the Autohelm one, the problem is not with the cabling per se, as that appears to be simple two-core with shield, but with obtaining a plug that will go into the ST's.
Does anybody know if these are available at a decent cost. I have just seen adapters but they come in at £30! Ouch!

Just cut the cable that goes into your ST60 which must already have a plug on it. Seatalk can be T'd off any which way it is very forgiving. Fancy connector boxes not needed. I use shrink wrap crimps on the boat for reliability.

So you can T - into it, as opposed to daisy- chaining? That would work!
