Seatalk 1 connector - active or passive?

Old tech I know but I'm looking to expand a Seatalk1 network.

Does anybody know if this connector block has any active electronic controls inside it or is it just a dumb connector between a series of Seatalk plugs?

Just a dumb connection.

You can cut the plug ends off and just use a Wago connector rather than try and find an overpriced Seatalk socket.
