looking a having a year off to go round the med.
Original plan was to buy boat in med and just cruise
but a fellow forumite suggested why not rent a boat for the season
Pluses
it may work out cheaper then buying then selling
no long term financial commitment
minuses
it aint your boat
you will have at the end of the season the dreaded spoon counting inspction and handover and argue over state of boat.
i did see the recent thread about blue water cruiser available but that is bit big for what we have in mind.
We would be after max 37 foot boat.
does anyone know of anyone whp has a boat that they are not using and would be interested in long term charter?
on basis that mrs s is getting broody time may be running out. If i cannot give her a more convincing reason for not getting pregnant in next nine months, other than what a terrible parent i would be, soon i am in trouble.
