'Gwenili' possible originally called 'Piros'. a 38ft gaff rigged yawl, draft 5ft, Beam 9.5 ft
I am particulary looking for any information of her early history up to 1955. we know she was built in Bordeaux in 1910 there is a makers plate built by A, la Gorce Fils at Bordeaux Bastide, this yard closed down not long after. Nothing more is know of her untill she was aquired by Brian Humby in 1955 from Buckler's Hard where she was laid up in a mud birth
My intention is to sail her back to Bordeax for the 100th birthday I am therefore looking for the French connection and the circumstances when
she came under the British flag. Can readers advise on how to gather any information who to contact what societies either in UK or France.
I allready contacted Classic-watcher.fr but no luck
