searching for my great-great grandfather\'s boat

I am trying to find out information about a boat owned by my great great grand father in the 1860's and sailed out of the Norfolk and Suffolk Yacht Club.

The boat was named "Merlin", and won a cup at Wroxham in 1861.

Any advice regarding how to begin this search would be appreciated.

Normal precise Lloyd's list of yacht's.
You will need to find a library that holds a complete set I would suggest you start at the National Maritime Museum Greenwich and certainly they should be able to point you in the right direction
