Dear yacht owners in Italy / Slovenia or Croatia
I am looking for a good, reliable and reasonably priced marina
in the Adriatic North region: coast from Ravenna - Chioggia - Jesolo to Monfalcone - Trieste.

Our boat, a 50ft motorboat, is to be moored there in winter (October to April) and perhaps also serviced.

I would be grateful for any tips or information on marinas in northern Italy.

Hi

I am in north of Croatia but cannot really suggest any. All marinas are expensive. Service is just a word with no action. Here everything is forbidden or allowed with a fee. I have no experience with Italy yet but will get so later this year.

I am going south starting march - another owner will do the same starting in april (actual start related to end of berth lease). They intend to go this year to Greece and lsyer via Donau to the Netherlands. I intend to go this year to Malta/Sicily/Sardinia and continue next year to South Spain/Portugal.
Had enough of this area.

Thanks piratos for your valuable comment.
I live in Switzerland and I am looking for a place with around 8 hour travel by car to access the winter place.

I have been cruising Croatia last year and I found it a great region. All the islands and the coast with many great places. Of course we found that most marinas are expensive (Marina Split very expensive and bad service) - service was +/- ok.
I am in the process to buy a 50ft boat at an italian dealer region Venice. Perhaps I would stay for 1-2 years in this region and during the seasion sail south along Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro and next year to Greece.

My other thing would be Thyrrenian Sea: Winter berth at Genoa, Arrenzano - Varazze and cruise the west coast & Sardegna to Sicily.
