search facility

Has anyone else found the search facility to be nearly unusable recently?

9 out of 10 times, for me anyway, it fails to complete the search, returning just half a web page, and absent any results......

Agreed...

Only seems to work if you search for a single word and use "newer than 1 month", otherwise it seems to time out and return nothing.

yeah... shame really.... as I'm in the process of looking for my first boat, this is a really really useful facility to check previous comments, observations, and weaknesses etc.... /forums/images/icons/frown.gif

Alternative facility....

As an alternative, have you tried using good old Google? If, in addition to the boat name, etc, you include the words ybw and forum in the search, you should get a number of results, some of which will include the link "More results from www.ybw.com". Click on that and you'll find many posts from here.
