Can you guys help again please. 2 completly different boats but which one should I
buy. The diesel in the Jeanneua is a bit of a reliability question.The searay has a 5 year warranty and 2 years engine. the Jeanneua 1 year on both. The running costs don,t really come into it as Deisel and petrol cost the same in Spain. Resale should be the same. I don,t know. Please help

Not much innit really if fuel costs not an issue, its a bit like buying cars, go for the one with the most helpfull dealer.

All things being equal, I'd still go for diesel. Less as you say, the engines knacked.

My first boat was a Sea Ray and I always think you don't get as much for your buck, everything seems to be an option.

For info on sea ray in general have peek at www.yachtsurvey.com also some info there on diesel v gas engines(from an american perspective ie cheap petrol) but good info on maintenance (or lack of) problems on marine diesel engines.
