Just got back from Lefkas on Sunday having discovered that the seaplane terminal has been set up 15 Metres from my marina berth! Anyone know where they intend to land the b****y thing - probably on my foredeck !

H - are you looking at using it ? EMA - Corfu - Lefkas now seems a possibility although the flight times dont tie up too well ?

Couldn't get a flight that suits unfortunately. So am flying to Athens and then hiring a car on a one way, but ouch! what a loading for a one way!

Why go to Athens when you can get the ferry from Corfu to igoumonitsa then bus to Lefkas -3 hours on scenic trip through mountain villages for less than 30 euro or taxi is about 100 euro one way .Ferry is less than 10 euro and takes an hour and a half .Athens is a right trek and exspensive .Corfu to lefkas via taxi or bus is easy peasy and very pleasant .Three buses a day I think .

Complicated logistics I'm afraid which revolve around when I come ashore, when my wife has her holidays and when flights were available forced this route.
I agree the trip from igoumanitsa is pleasant.

We were in Gaios 2 weeks ago and tried to get flights for Corfu, the service was not upo and running at that point,and they did not know when it would start..any updates?

looking at the website it would appear the scheduled flights dont begin until 15th July and run into October.
