Hi all, I'm a first time user & new boat owner so please forgive me if this is a FAQ but I can't face trawling through the numerous past posts. I'm in the process of re-decking my converted lifeboat in 12mm marine ply but I'm a bit unsure as to what to finish it with. Is it advisable to use paint directly onto the ply or should I cover it in fabric & resin. Maybe a non-slip paint? Cost is a factor but I'd rather not have to redo it again a year or 2, so want to do a decent job. Hope someone can help.
