Sealine Experience

Went to see the Sealine F42 today together with a great bunch from the Sealine Forum (very gracious of them as our last boat was a Fairline). What an awesome boat! Loved the layout and the interior. Very spacious and modern without being too 'Ikea'. The IPS with the joystick is an absolute wonder - put the boat just where you want it. All seemed to be put together very well and had an air of quality about it. Superb boat and I can see why the reviews are all good.

Interestingly, I heard very recently that, despite all the rave reviews, the build quality isn't all it's made out to be and that there are several already in 'the menders'. Don't know how much truth is in that though the source is a reliable one so I would be interested to hear any feedback on this as we love the look of the SC35.

"Reliable source" ... = "Fairline Dealer?"

There are several SC35 owners on here that should be able to give you more feedback, but there have been no "my SC35 is broken" rants that I can remember.

Some early ones had to go to the menders to reinforce something to do with the roof, a few leaky portholes, and spray ending up in the engine bay thru the vents have been reported (fixed on later ones).
Nothing that would put me off: I want one :)
