Sealine Trouble???

[ QUOTE ]
ty all so much for your answers as for as being from the sink or shower i feel this is unlikely the water seems to only come in when a few people stay in her overnight ie weight at front of boat i have also made sure the internal tanks were empty last time we stayed on board to try and rule this out.

Drain hose on a sink/basin? This happened to me - the hose was secured to the spigot (if that's the right word) by two hose clips but the lower of the two didn't bite fully on the spigot so the 'grip' of the clip 'pulled' the hose off the spigot.

look at the outside of the boat, just above the water line,
is there a Through hull water outlet somewhere ?
- just above the waterline, when the boat is empty
- just below the waterline, when the boat is loaded with people,
if you have one of these, the hose connected to this outlet leads to the source of the problem

had a similar problem on mine with the hose from the shower pump, there was no "one way" valve, so when the boat was loaded, water came in through the shower pump.

Alt , there you go no need to rip up your floor after all , good access solution found . /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
