Going to have our S43 cockpit re- trimmed thinking about sticking with the original white rather than beige and grey which seem very popular, can anyone recommend a fabric, needs to be hard wearing as have 2 dogs who love lounging on the seating. Must also be resistant to the dreaded spider poo. Cheers

I have seen a few boats done in vinyl more or less as original and I think that's fine .
A friend had his Broom cockpit done in sunbrella type fabric . It looked okay from a distance but to be honest I an not sure it was a great success. Only a few weeks later he has sold the boat !
An older style Princess 33 near us was done last year in cream vinyl with blue piping . That might not look so good on your much bigger scale. But it may not show the spider poo marks.
Avoid dark coloured fabrics as on those few days when its hot the seats may be hot too.

I replaced my cockpit upholstery on my S37. My preference was to stay as original so had the vinyl covers made by Land & Marine (They have the original templates and may have yours as well) and they were fitted by our man in Spain. Not keen on dual responsibility but it worked in my case.
