In fairness the thread title is misleading. You would get an S28 for a LOT cheaper than £100k (I know, i've been keeping a keen eye on S28's for the past while /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif)
Don't understand. There are plenty of S37's with asking prices less than £100k. OK maybe not quite as new but £100k doesn't sound like a huge bargain for this boat to me
The last auction was pulled after a guy made an offer which appeared briefly in the question section. Shortly after the auction was pulled. The offer was below £100k, which for a 2002 face lifted model is very good. At say £95k it would be £30k cheaper than any other face lifted S37 for sale. Of course even considering that they offered and sold at a 15% reduction that is still a 10% reduction so, in my honest opinion, a good price to buy.
Also given the number of people with cash, looking for an S37, able to travel to Scotland, view, offer and complete in 7 days will be very small....I think a great deal is to be had!
If I had the cash it would be me!!! The S37 is probably the most versatile of the 'S' range made ever!
To give you an idea a 2001 pre-face lift with new mercruisers recently went for £100k on the south coast.
You got a good deal. I thought that late models had not dropped under £70k, with most going for mid £70's. Goes to show how fast the Market is moving!!
