Hi to all,

My best friend and is under discussion for a 2001 S34 with KADs32, the broker claims that the boat burns 50 lph at 25 knots.

Is there any comparison as far as crusing speed/fuel consuption for ADs41 and KADs43?

thank you

My advice is to not buy a boat with the smallest engine option. Twin KAD32 is not enough for the Sealine 34 in my opinion. They have a tough life in that big boat. Go for the 41 or 43.
About fuel consumption. The difference in between KAD32 and 43 is not worth mentioning in the total costs for the boat/year. As the KAD32 needs to work very hard in this size of boat they won't be much cheaper on diesel.
So tell your fiend to walk away :)

Thank you Rickard for your advise,

nevertheless I was wondering about the actual consumption of KADs43, are there any actual figures fir this setup?

kad32's are the most commonly fitted option in the S34. So if you exclude them you will exclude a lot of boats.

The kad32 may have a few horse power less than the ad41 but also has less weight . Having said that the ad41 boat will have the slightly greater top speed.
