I would be pleased to know peoples opinion on a Sealine S28 as my first boat? I have been looking around for about a year now and have come to the conclusion that this boat will give me most things I need sunch as cross channel ability and the requirement to sleep aboard in some sort of comfort from time to time.
Im looking for one second hand low hours about 2003 if anyone has one :)

I bought a Sealine S28 as my first boat in October 2002. She was equipped with twin Volvo KAD32 diesels. She was used as a family boat in and around Dublin. She was also used as a weekender by myself and my wife. I am delighted to report that she was the ideal boat to start cruising. Not too big to learn basic handling/berthing etc. Not too small for overnight accommodation. I have since traded the S28 for a C39. The S28 is for sale via SSUK Swanwick. PM for full spec etc.
Best of luck.
Michael.

Our school Principal Phil has skippered many sealines on deliveries etc, but is not one who normally volanteers opinion or praise.

So it suprised me the other day when I told him I had booked for him to do a PB level 2, on a customers own S28 in Banus, when he said "thats my favourite sports cruiser Sealine" When I said why's that, he said it just seems to have the right combination of things such as accomodation handling etc.
