2005 sealine s25 constantly has water in bilge occasionally this floods allowing water to seep into the carpet in the galley area. extensive investigation does nt reveal any leak points! is this a problem with these boats!any ideas ???

Doh, silly me - didn't realise that /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Spread some talcum powder, see if you can trace where its coming in?

I would fit an auto bilge pump pronto.

Bloke next door, maybe similar engine, his water pump cracked the other day, nearly sinking him. Look at that.

Bellows are a common problem, would be dripping from around the bell housing.

Sealine leaking??????

Water in the bilge??????

How about the top and bottom halves arent sealed properly.....difficult to check but look at the seams around the rubbing strake.....I can assure it is not uncommon...... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

not sure if this could be your problem but I have a self draining cockpit and had water in the bilge most of the time. Turns out that one of drains for the cockpit was leaking into the bilge!

Would have thought the bilge pump would cut in as the water rose in the hull way before it came above the carpet in the cabin floor?
Are you sure its bilge water? Have you the water pump switch on? Would there be a leak in the shower / sink hose pipe and this water is seeping through into the carpet in the cabin?
