Does anyone else suffer from soot forming on the bottom of the pans when cooking. Cannot remember this happening on our S24.
Using Butane with the regulator supplied with the boat.

is your flame blue or yellow? if the latter you have a problem get it checked by a gorgi calor fitter.

Yes the flame goes yellow, and smells too

Not good, should be blue with no smell. Needs to be checked out...

You have a faulty regulator or blocked airation. A yellow flame signifies carbon monoxide which as has been stated is not good. Easily remedied but needs sorting asap.

As already stated , yellow flame means the gas is not burning properly , and is producing carbon monoxide . It's not just not good though . Carbon monoxide kills , you need to get it sorted urgently , and until you do , always have plenty lots of ventilation

Been to see the boat agent, replacing the cooker under warranty.
