I have the chance of recovering the cockpit and flybridge seating (including the cushions you lay down on) in the new type of "Silver Tex" fawn fabric for a reasonable price.
I'm just not sure if the fawn of the cushions and the blue of the cockpit covers/dogers/toneau will work.
What do you reckon? Is this a good move or a daft one?

Volvopauls mate Nigel, has a fawn-ish colour on his F43, looks really good, can't remember the colour of his covers tho, so really I'm not much use, sorry.
Paul should be along shortly.

Cushions

I have the fawn cushions - they look great and are very practical - we have a dog and to young children! We have red covers so I cannot comment on how that works with the blue but would recommend them as a good addition to the boat.

A friend of mine has blue covers and fawn seats on his F37.

Looks great, and I would go for it.

However where the canopy pushes against the seat backs, the blue rubs off a little bit.

Easily sorted with a quite rub of a magic sponge. Won't tend to happen on the F43.

I like the sound of this, do you have a likely cost of having all these done? does it involve replacing the foam interiors? Who makes this Silver Tex material?

Sorry for all the questions..

Not sure how practical this would be in your situation but this project was completed at minimal cost and looses the dogers issue.
I dont see the toneau being a different colour matters as you cant really see the covers and seats together.

Daka, was the canvas canopy that extends from the fly over the cockpit part of your project? I have been thinking of this on my F43 to extend the angle that the cockpit canvas comes down at and wonder if anyone else has done this on an F43
