A friend of mine is looking at the possibility of purchasing a sealine 360 ambassador. He has asked me totry and find out what he needs to look out for on this model - any comments would be appreciated.

I brought a 360 from RYB Marine Sales in Windsor last season. I would recomend contacting them, they were very informative and helpful.

I nearly bought a boat from RYB, but did'nt because they were rubbish! They would not even give me a proper sea trial, there equivilant was doing 4 knots up the Thames! (Not too impressive for a fast F36 is it?)

Was the boat at RYB or a brokerage boat moored somewhere else? I bought 4 different Sealines from them (two used, two new), and they (the boats and RYB) were really good. I did even get a quick blast on the plane on a quiet bit of the Thames!!.. Obviously, a boat at RYB (Windsor), has a very long way to go to get a proper sea trial.....Their previous Sales Director (Phil Hutchins) has left to set up his own Company (I think it's called Hutchins Marine Services), and they do advertise in the Mags - certainly worth a call to Phil for he is one of the leading experts in all Sealines.
