I need to fit a new shower hose to the tap in my Sealine 330 but I can see no way of getting access to it - Has any one done this and if so how?

I also want to fit an electric toilet and can see no way of getting under the bathroom floor to fit it and bring in the power so same question again- Has any one done this and if so how?

I do'nt know for sure, but I remember a previous Sealine thread that indicated that you need to remove the sink vanity unit assembly to gain access to the plumbings. I'm sure a better informed Sealine owner will be along soon.

I fitted i electric toilet to my seal F33 same problem as you had.
what i did was to use a new stainless steel plate as an adepter I picked up the original fixing and mounted the new toilet to the stainless plate with counter sunk screws.
it worked a treat.

regards paul

Shower hose. To gain access to the shower hose and indeed the tap fittings you have to remove the basin. Be very careful as it is made of fibreglass and will break. The basin is stuck in place with silicon sealant. To remove the basin first undo and remove the screw in the sink waste. Then get a very sharp, long knife and gently insert and cut between the basin and the worktop. Work your way round and the basin will then pop out. Once removed you will have full access to the tap fittings and hose. You may wish to leave the basin out whilst fitting the electric toilet.

Electric toilet. We bought a Jabso electric toilet as this has the same footprint as the original fitted to our boat. At the base of our toilet there is an inspection cover, screw type, that is big enough to get your hand in. This gives you access to the underside of the toilet. The toilet is held by four long stainless nuts and bolts. Undo these and the hose clips to remove the old manual toilet. Shut the seacocks first! The new toilet fits straight in the same holes with the same fittings, etc. If you want a wet bowl loop the waste pipe into a gooseneck. If you want a dry bowl leave it flat. I then ran a heavy duty twin core cable straight from the battery, through a fuse / isolator unit I fixed in the engine compartment, through the engine room bulkhead into the lazerette sarboard side. From there feed the wire forwards to the lazerette bulkhead, where the battery charger is, across to the port side, forwards under the galley and again forwards to the access hole under the toilet. You can then wire the toilet to this 12v feed. Whilst I had the basin out I fitted the toilet push button to the right of the toilet where to toilet roll cupboard is. Feed the wires from under the toilet into the area under the basin, basin removed, and connect up. Hey presto, electric toilet.
