Seal22 - help

1. Just bought a Seal 22 and was told about a bolt in the c/b case that locks the centreboard up. The boat is on a trailer at the moment. I've identified the big bolt holding the cables, and a smaller bolt half way along the case. - I loosened this bolt prior to removing it, but am concerned that the big metal sideplates are now very loose and will drop further into the case if the bolt is completly removed.

2. I applied to join the Seal Association and sent a cheque to them about 10 days ago, and have'nt had a reply since. - is this normal !!!

3. The engine drops in a hole in the stern . Has anybody got the moulds to make a cover for this.

Welcome to the seal club! I have a 26, so can't answer your query on the 22, but I would suggest joining the forum and asking the question there.

Ref the assoc, it's been the Easter hols, so I'd suggest waiting a few days, and if you've not heard anything, drop Steve and email?
