I have just brought a Seaking 28 ft - similar to Thankful which was owned by Denny Desouter founder editor of PBO. There are a number of articles about his boat in PBO. They were built in Benfleet and are similar to the Dauntless's built on Canvey Island. They range from 18 -32 ft made from oroko, clinker design and mostly lifting keel or bilge. They are very seaworthy and great classic yachts. There is a Dauntless and Seaking association for more information see the website www.dauntless-association.org.uk
