I have a 2.4m Seahopper dinghy with mast & sails that has never been on the water & has been in storage in my shed in the bag for the last 3 yrs.I recently sold it & got it out to check it over before arranging collection. There was a small hole in the bag & far worse two holes, one about1.5ins sq & a small one in the membrane at the transome end which was obviously chewed by a mouse(we are next to a field in the sticks) who had made himself cosy with some insulation from my shed wall.
Does anyone know how to repair this if it is possible.Replacing the membrane may be possible but it looks like a difficult job.I will be contacting Seahopper tomorrow but rumour has it that they may not be in business any more.
Any advice will be very welcome.
It has been an expensive week as I blew out my cruising chute on the way back from Holland last week.

A mate of mine has a Seahopper about 3 to 4 years old. He discovered the membraine around the centre board casing had failed at the beginning of the season. He popped into Seahopper on his way down to Devon .... I think he got the membraine FoC and didn'd appear to swear oo much when fitting it .... but thats a different job!

I think there was some talk about giving up ... but he is still hanging in for the moment
