G'day all,.... I have a very old Seagull outboard ...don't know what model,it is a small hp short shaft type. I hadn't used it for about 10 years and dug it out this morning to have a look at it. After filling it with fresh petrol,it started on the second pull. The only problen is that the fuel on/off tap is leaking all over the joint.I stripped it down to find the rubber (?) sleeve which makes the seal has perished . The make of the fuel tap is "Ewart" .Are replacement sleeves available? or has anyone any ideas on the best way to fix said tap?. Obviously a small length of rubber tubing would do the trick, but I have looked all over for a piece the correct size.
