Just reading the August MBM and saw the write up on the Seagull Water Purifier.

We keep our fresh water tank sterilised but still carry bottled water for both drinking (along with the wine & beer) and teeth cleaning.

To be honest it's not just the taste of the water out of the tanks, even if we run the hose on the pontoon for a while and then fill the kettle direct we still don't like the taste!!

So the idea of the claims of perfect drinking water sounds just the ticket. We see the filters will be at the boat show but would like to know if any one has first hand experience of them??

It will either be one of those ' why didn't we fit one earlier ' things or we could still end up carrying bottled water onboard!!

Regards,

Paul.

We also have 1 on our boat, we dont drink the water directly, but its fine for teeth cleaning snd cooking.

Replacements are expensive (around £150) but I guess thats why they work.

We first fitted a Seagull many years ago and it was brilliant. However since then I have always fitted the Nature Pure model which is cheaper and also has cheaper filters.

It has a slower flow rate, but is perfectly acceptable for filling a kettle or a drinking glass.

Hello,
Since 1 year i work in Pharmaceutical company, and there for the sake of water purification we use sterilisation process,
Its some expensive as lot of electricity is requite to operate auto sterilisation...but its quite good method.

The water filters are now become very essential in every home. Due to over pollution people are suffering a lot and it is very rare to get purified water. The Filtration Systems by Osmio Water Filtersis said to be secured method for filtering water and it assures quality of the water.
