It's time to replace the water filter on our Seagull IV. This is supposed to be the gold standard of water filters and with each filter cartridge now costing over £80 it's easy to see why. When we first installed it the filter cartridges were only £50 ish.
We live on board and use the filtered water for all our drinking water, tea and coffee, so it has a high usage. There is also not enough room to store bottled water in the quantity we would need. We fill the tanks from the marina pontoon supply.
I'm looking into a replacement filtration system that doesn't have quite the same high annual costs.
Any suggestions?
