I've just moved to a new berth in Plymouth Mayflower Marina which is nice and quiet so much so that every seagull in the world spends most of thier time on or around my Fairline Phantom 46. I have strung some netting across, other berth holders use string with or without CD's not only does it take forever to rig this stuff but it looks awfull. Anyone found the perfect cure like ultra sonic scarers or Gullsweep (an american 6ft spinning device tested in MBM last month) or any other ideas?

At the visitors moorings in Cardiff Bay they have loud speakers with fighting gulls sqwacking(new word i know).
Seems to work well.

I have used a "Gullsweep" for some years seems to work for me, but I think you might need more than one for that size boat.

I have a fab rubber snake (from the excellent South Lakes Animal Park) It worked well on my saily boat but isn't as good on a mobo. ??

When I lived in Oman the local fishermen used cassette tape strung on poles when drying fish on the beach. Seemed to work.
