I have just spotted a recall notice on the Mailspeed site that states their Charter lifejackets are subject to the same recall as the Seago jackets- presumably same LJ but rebranded.
Glad I saw it as I have 2 Charter LJs purchased in 2006 and until now had no idea they were potentially subject to the Seago recall. All other details are the same- so affected date of manuf batches IV/05, I/06-IV/06 &I/07 inclusive, returns to Seago Yachting@ Hailsham.
Posted this on the earlier Seago recall thread, but on reflection thought it was worth a separate post, for information.
Incidentally, slightly at odds with the Seago thread, the Mailspeed recall states that jackets (which should be sent without the cylinder) will be returned if checked & OK & only faulty LJs replaced.
