bit nervous - mine are 111 05 so not covered. Anybody got an idea what the fault was cos it would be bl**dy odd if they suddenly changed something precisely on the 31 Oct 05
Yup, well pleased with the replacement of my lifejacket.....courier delivered....with a new cylinder and crotch strap.
I don't know what the recall was for.......but I have to say that I am very impressed with the prompt and efficient manner with which they dealt with it........I would buy Seago products again.
Ditto here - cost us £21 to post our 3 jackets - they said the free crotch straps with the replacements (which were promptly sent) and extra gas cylinder (we kept the old ones) were compensation for payment. Fair enough, but only if you wanted crotch straps!
Stop moaning. SWMBO picked my two up from their depot to save them the postage (she works in Hailsham). Did we get crotchstraps? no, did we get gas bottles?..no
wotayottie...
Force 4 told me of a chafing risk at the bottom of the bladder in the vicinity of some stitching. Others in remote locations whose have been asked to check for inflation beyond 24hrs.
Why not ask them rather than get hearsay from here?

true , but many have posted on here that you could swap them out at a local chandlery, as I did, following those suggestions.
Seago told me the fault was in the non-return valve in the oral inflation tube. Thus inflating by mouth and seeing if the jacket stays inflated for 24 hrs is the test.
