Seafarer Medical - Rhodes

List of MCA-approved overseas doctors on their web site:
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/mca-approved-doctors-overseas
Nothing obvious in the eastern med.

MCA-approved doctors only required for ENG1s. Your GP (in the UK at least) can fill in an ML5: google is as much your friend to determine whether qualified overseas doctors can fill in an ML5 as it is mine :-)

Thanks for your replies. My friend is a RYA instructor based full- time in Turkey. A visit to UK just to undertake a 1hr medical is not practical but he regularly visits Rhodes taking boats out of Turkey on the "5 yr rule" and wants to have the medical carried out when he is next there. The RYA have confirmed that a medical carried out by any Greek GP would be acceptable. (they even sent an application form in both Greek and English)
