Seafarer 600 echo sounder repeater..?

I've got an old Seafarer 600 echo sounder. It has a repeater unit on the flybridge that's unfortunately been vandalised. I was thinking of trying to fix it myself, but thought I'd first post here to see if anyone had a spare, or a compatible unit, or could point me to a supplier.

I have a 700 and found that there is a 'Bod' who is maintaining/repairing Seafarer electronics.

Thanks. gave him a try, but it seems the 600 is one of the few units that have a dedicated repeater where no other model will do, and he thinks that if the innards have been exposed to the weather it's not worth attempting a repair.

So, let's see if someone comes up with something here. Failing that I'll take it apart to see if maybe it's salvageable, and failing that buy a completely new sounder (but I won't throw out the old one of course - one can be a check against the other)
