Long drive to Essex! Set off at 5am!! Good journey though, were there at 0830 a tad early, so chance to have another look on board before EBY arrived...

Had to have one of this!

Which ways the pontoon?

The guy on the right is Dominic, the surveyor, East Anglia Yacht Surveys, very thorough and a nice bloke, Andy at the helm. The other one is SWMBO!

Nice, but no walkaround? I couldn't survive without a walkaround, each to their own I guess

Got a walk thro windscreen, SWMBO says she prefer it that way, rather than hanging off the side /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Interesting replies. I found walkthrough aqward. The walkaround I have is minimal but sufficent. It makes it dead easy for the GF to get the ropes/fenders ready when coming to port

My son Sam always asks if he can go round if he is doing fenders etc, I always say I am happier for him to go through the screen. I always like to foresee problems which has worked for me in life, so why not on the boat.
When driving do you watch the car in front, or the car in front of him ?

I guess I have a small radar arch which is a great thing to hold onto, really gives you a sense of security when hanging off the side. The grab rail's aren't the strongest but are a lot better than nothing!

AD31P's 150hp diesels. Interesting that you should ask that.
She is the only one of her type with two engines, special commision for Elmarine (Moody) France.
She has spent her life in the South of France and Gibralter, last service carried out June 06 by VP in the Cote d'Azur!
She was on brokerage at EBY and we are bringing her to the muddy waters of the Bristol Channel!
