The first sea trail left some questions over performance and a couple of other issues.
She is a gorgeous boat, and here she is waiting for the lift at Mercury.

You can see that there is quite a lot of growth on the hull.

This was jet washed, but there were a lot of barnacles on the hull and sterngear. The eagle-eyed of you will see a bit of damage on the starboard prop. The port prop was a tad loose on the shaft. Several of the anodes had eroded.

So top speed she managed was 22kn, way below the expected 27.
So she was lifted, props repaired and refitted, hull cleaned and new antifoul. All new anodes.

On the re-run last Saturday, on a choppy Solent, into a stiff breeze, she recorded 29kn into the breeze, engine revs at 2800. She absolutely flew, the most the owner has seen previously being 27kn, with new boats advertised at 30kn max. After our old Sunline, the imperious way she climbs up onto the plane is amazing! The ride is really comfortable and hull solid, and very dry, given the stiff breeze on the Solent.
Just running through the remaining legals with the broker, who frankly has been first class, both with the seller, and me (quick plug for Adam Baker of Global Yacht Brokers). Hoping to get on board at the weekend. Can't wait
