A friend wants to bring his boat across from Belgium to visit London. A potential problem is the boat has only sea toilets, no holding tanks. Does anyone know whether such straight-through devices are permitted in the main London harbours, St K's, Limehouse etc.? He would, of course, expect to use the shore-side facilities where possible, as he does where he normally berths but.........

St Kats doesn't allow anything to be spilled overboard that might pollute the water, their website mentions "waste effluent" but doesn't specificaly mention sea toilets.

Thanks both.

Having been to both destinations can confirm Byrons post that neither destinations have ever checked my sea toilet and basically you are on your "honour" not to use your sea bog.St Kats has very presentable bogs/showers/loos and laundery facilities in both docks .
IMHO the ones at Chelsea Marina are the best of all,but the marina is miles from anywhere and is a bit clinical .
