Just spent the day doing this course with Mendez Marine. Fantastic course! Great fun but much more importantly...the stuff I learnt was absolutely invaluable. So easy to let complacency set in on the basic stuff which ultimately could save your life. It's a must do imo.

I remember this from a few years ago, it has to be one of the best courses you do as a boater, the simulator in Lowestoft college was great, it made you think that the life raft is the last place you want to be !!!

SWMBO and I together with Mr and Mrs Hurricane did ours a few years ago, definitely a worthwhile course.

Mind you, if you don't use it you lose it, so we may do a refreshed in a year or two. We do go over the course material from time-to-time.....

My SWMBO is in there too, I did mine years go as needed for my Commercial Endorsement and finally SWMBO signed up to do it with Lisa (I'm not sure who was bullying who into doing it but great they have both done it).

Well done Jon and Steve at Mendez Marine as Liz has not stopped talking about what a great course it was since she got home.

I did mine with the "Atlantic Water Babes" who were about to row the atlantic. Yes I enjoyed the course very much!

We did ours with Warsash via Moody Owners about 11 years ago (and in the Andark pool for the afternoon); and yes it is a "must do" training/learning day course. You learn something new, useful, live saving at least every 2 minutes.
Thanks for the post - time for us to book a refresher!
