um, i would have though this unlikely for lots of reasons. Language difficulties, the more spread-out geography of med boats rather than uk's very solenty concentration, the more occassional nature of med boating detracting from annual membership, etc etc.
Hm you could be right, i wasnt expecting them to go over to the med from the Solent /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif but they do offer french coastal services in places like le Havre, so just thought I'd check - i definitely read in one of the mags they were moving South in 07 but they must have scrapped the idea...
I have'nt seen them out there but if they were, I'd join tomorrow. I reckon they could make a killing in the Balearics or the Cote d'Azur where there are big concentrations of motorboats and owners who would rather pay somebody else to fix them
Just been looking and they don't seem to cover the East Coast and Thames routes to N France and Belgium as far as I can see, apart from shore facilities in Ramsgate. Still, that's £150 saved I suppose, but less peace of mind.
I think you will find that N France is covered by 'locals' under contract - bit like the SW in UK where you do not get the yellow ribs and the international rescue /spiderman gambit!
Would not have thought it very difficult to fix this type of deal with the dealers/ service peeps in Med. After all its just a form of finacial insurance.

More and boats in the Bristol Channel area with another marina in Cardiff Bay, I'd join if they operated here as, I'm sure, would plenty of others.
