Never heard of them !

The wrist bands work for some people esp if they believe they will work!

Googled for them.

From Force4 website:

Anti Motion Sickness Glasses (Boarding ring glasses) - These unique glasses are a “visible internal ear”. The fluid in the frames recreates the natural horizon, thus enabling the eyes to transmit the same information as your actual inner ear and therefore removing the sensory conflict which is the source of motion-sickness.
They only need to be worn for a few minutes (on average 6 minutes) and any symptons of motion sickness will disappear.
Clinical tests, carried out with the French Navy, have shown them to be 95% effective which is generally much higher than other seasickness remedies.
Keep a pair on board (next to the first-aid kit?) for any crew members or visitors to use when they start to feel seasick.
• No side effects
• No Contr-indication
• Can be worn over opthalmic glasses
• CE Approved (Class 1 medical device)
• Supplied with rigid plastic storage box

Tested by the French navy ... doesn't say they went to sea in them though :)

I reckon if you wore them for more than 6 minutes the rest of the crew would be sick!

Hi, These glasses were in Practical Boat Owner magazine August issue I think, they intend to
test them in the near future, when I started boating 15 years ago I was very seasick whilst in an east coast October gale 11 hours at sea, first 7 hours okay then the nausea started the following 4 hours were hell ! I would have willingly jumped ship.
If these glasses work but make you look stupid give me stupid every time!

funny enough, we bought a pair and...

Do they work like beer glasses :D
SWMBO does get seasick, doesnt like the Stugeron/Scopaderm drowsyness, got a pair to try just as we left-we cruised all of August, got back Tuesday evening.
No real rough stuff, but they did help her when below doing Log entries, meals etc.
And yes, we did end up calling them 'beer goggles'- esp after I explained how that term came to refer to sexual partners picked up after a few beers, and how gorgeous they looked the morning after

Between the Forts BH Saturday update..

So, to date... 2 users found no benefit at all?
1 user found them to 'help' ( is that a 'thumbs up' tidewaiter2 ??)
That's a Rog, Goodtime 3!
Update;
BH Sat; It got a bit hairy when that first serious squall came through(gusts 29-31 kts), on the IoW side, trying to dump main n reduce sail at same time, then green over the front all the way up there til Ryde pier, and between Gurnard n Hamstead just to finish the day.
Herself with beer goggles deployed, no problemo.
At least as interesting as off Dielette 2 year ago, so reckon for SWM/BO, they work!

We didn't pay £50.00!

Thanks Tidewaiter.
It could be well worth £50 just to have them aboard even if they only work for 1 in 5 people.

Bought them from Jim in Harbour Chandlers, Emsworth, £35.00 as I recollect, just before we left in July for Cherbourg.
He did use Alice as a human guinea pig for them tho- wanted a report on how she got on with them on return from Brittany, etc last week.
