I am very interested in buying about a 11m motorboat, probably flybridge type,but would like some experience and general tips pros, cons etc. Has anyone the need for an unpaid hand (perhaps for a boat transfere or similar) that would allow me to come along and learn the ropes.I am mid thirties and physically fit, and pretty flexible on time. Any help please.

Be careful who responds

Dear Hep, I see that Haydn has responded to your request. Just be careful that you don't get more nautical experience than you bargained for. He may want you to clean/sort out his exploding holding tank (thats the tank on the boat which holds all the cr!!!!p). The brown fleck in the bilges paintwork is not original spec you know! On the other hand, you do have to experience most things as a boater, and it is good for the soul.

He also has a sore back which needs rubbing from time to time!
