Oh, I had a little chortle about the article on page 11 of the April 2011 issue which writes about a sea-gas buoyancy problem allegedly caused by Dihydrogen Monoxide emission from sea horse corpses.

DHMO is not, as mentioned in the article, a variant of methane gas. DHMO is a caustic solvent which causes thousands of deaths on our coastlines and inland and even in our homes.

DHMO is the hoax name for "water".

Someone's been having them on, I daresay. Emissions from sea horse corpses :rolleyes:
 
Sometimes it's hard to tell a ponderous April Fool from the usual cock-ups.

Have a look at page 25. Loch Moidart (west coast) and Stonehaven (east coast) have apparently exchanged longitudes.

There may be more....
